In a previous chapter of my life (2009), I was given the pr a family here in Des Moines.
And while I was employed as a private chef, the sum of choices made by others and myself, resulted in losing a Thanksgiving turkey.
When would tell my turkey story to family and friends, they would alway found it very funny and entertaining and would alway tell me that needed to record it for everyone to hear. As a regular listener to “Our American Stories” with Lee Habib, I decided to pitch my turkey story to their show. To my suprise, one of the producers contacted me, and told me that it woud be a great story for the show.
He told me to record my story on my iphone, and they would do the rest.
So every year around Thanksgiving time, “Our American Stories” broadcasts my turkey story across the nation. But you don’t have to listen to “Our American Stories” to hear how I lost Thanksgiving turkey, because I uploaded below for your convenience.
So while you are in the kitchen preparing a glorious Thanksgiving feast, out shopping, or watching football, take a few minutes and listen to my story.
